The idea behind an education startup was born in 2012 as an answer to the lack of IT specialists on the market. We have noticed that IT companies have hard time finding skilled programmers. At the same time, there are people with university degrees who struggle with finding a job.
In the mid-2014 we started to build the first version of our online-learning platform. In early 2015 we released the beta version called Codemy. From the very beginning we have focused on interactivity and approachability, so that people with no prior programming experience can easily work with the platform.
Codemy was critically acclaimed, so in late 2015 we founded the Codemy SA company. Since then, our online-learning platform has been known as Kodilla.
Kodilla is based on the following principles:
We are always looking for talented and open-minded people who want to help us teach future programmers. Do you want to be a part of a team which revolutionizes the education? Feel free to contact us at email@example.com.
We co-work with the National Capital Fund which supports venture capital funds.
The grants are co-financed by the European Union’s European Regional Development Fund.
